I believe the Province sold the land to the City. Basically the South Hospital is dead. Stollery is the focus.

I doubt it will happen under the current government either and given the questionable choice of location maybe that will be a good thing.

Well it was cancelled around 8 years ago, so I doubt anyone has much hope of a revival at this point.

Its too bad, we do need a new hospital still, now more so than then and preferably something that is close to an existing LRT lines.

Its really not that hard to figure out.
