Home Slice coming through for YEG again! "$13B worth of Modular homes on Federal land." Gotta be worth at least $500M worth for YEG alone!?
 
Since it’s on federal land, I’m guessing this means Griesbach right?

Big W that we’re getting the capital infusion for this. Would love for this to be paired up with more financial supports for downtown construction, but I think the $1 billion focus on transitional and supportive housing will pay dividends for us.

Yeah must be the NE portion of Griesbach since I'm not aware of any other CLC holdings in the city. Are there other larger pieces of land in the City that the federal government owns that would be suitable for housing? Wonder if Enoch will eventually get involved in this program somehow in future phases.

If that is the case they should pay for the Metro line north. Right?😏

Great news. Curious about the proposed modular construction and what exact type of housing products are going to be delivered. Edmonton area has a solid base of modular manufacturers which I wonder if that played a part in selecting us. Clearly I shouldn't have left the business 😂
 
Big demo contract would be needed as well for these upcoming modular homes.........

Problem is that hardly anyone up here builds mods anymore. AltaFab farmed their dorms out to that massive factory in Idaho. Dexterra sold their mod fab facilities last year. Northgate builds here. Atco - not to sure where they build theirs anymore. Britco pretty much shut down their Kamloops fab.....who knows where these 4000 housing units will end up getting built? What others am I missing here @northlands?
