Can you imagine any other team in the league “needing some offence” that wouldn’t salivate over adding McDavid or Draisaitl or half a dozen others from this roster?

I think we just need to be a little bit patient while the lines get sorted and that settling in should start next week when Hyman returns. In the meantime the coaches are learning a lot about what they have to work with and the players are learning a lot about who they’re playing with.

Let's not forget that the coaching staff has changed this past summer.
Glen Gulutzan left to become the head coach for the Dallas Stars.
Paul Coffey has gone back to an advisory role with the team.
Paul McFarland has replaced Gulutzan, so he's in charge of the PP.
Mark Stuart has replaced Coffey as the defense coach.
Peter Aubrey has replaced Dustin Schwartz.

Honestly, I feel like Coffey is being missed as Defensive coach. Other than that, coaching staff feels better than last year's, imo.

A nice tribute to those that serve our country last night, along with some super wicked awesome folks dropping in on things + a BIG WIN!

Skinner had one serious miscalculation and should have GOT BIG on the second goal, but otherwise was pretty solid behind the net.

It was nice to see the team be able to maintain the zone and actually breakout of their own end.

My player of the game though was Roslovic. Tremendous skill, almost a goal of the year and hardworking.

Did the "Voice of the Oilers" sing the anthems? Wasn't sure if Clark'seys cancer was keeping him out or not...

Neat little story on NHL.com. Something just the fLamers organization wouldn’t know the first thing about…..
This is low-level propaganda from the EOCF after the news broke last month on their feeble payouts. It's hard to believe possible, but they've even managed to pump up the in-game promos on Sportsnet too.

Blue 'Jays Care' 50/50 charity is going to hit $6million in World Series ($3million to winner).

Their payout to charities is 66 cents per $1 versus Oilers Foundation at 44 cents per dollar. Blue Jays B+ for transparency versus D+ for Katz.
