Sam Gagner joins Senators as director of player development

Longtime NHLer Sam Gagner is moving upstairs. The London, Ont., native joined the Ottawa Senators as director of player development, the team announced on Thursday.

That was another stress game. The little one and I were watching and I liked how all the lines were being used. Bodes well for 3rd round especially if Ekholm comes back in. I love Podkolzins game. He is like a Rottie chasing down opposing players before giving the puck to Draisatl. Now can rest for a few days.

I was under the impression that Ekholm was out for the rest of the playoffs. Is there a chance of him rejoining the lineup? *crosses fingers*

According to reports he has been skating with the team and is expected to be ready for the next round Western Conference Finals.
