And the goals against keep falling... 6 (Skinner), 6 (Skinner), 4 (Pickard), 3 (Pickard), 1 (Pickard). The Oilers need to project dominant energy (as they so obviously did in Game 5) through all three periods. Logic suggests Pickard in goal again (I wonder?); the team seems to be gelling nicely at just the right moment.
Pickard out playing Skinner, but that's largely because he has a team in front of him doing A LOT more to prevent L.A. from getting inside, back-checking and limiting high quality chances.

GO OILERS GO!

Stu will be back in goal if Picks falters. Guess we'll see what happens tonight.

^ Some people are so stupid -- always looking for confrontations (even on this site, and you know who you are) -- mostly to showcase how stupid and regressive humans can be. Let's be a force for upgrading the discourse. Oilers are HOT... let's celebrate that!

I would really like to hear @erudyk_29's overview of Game 5 and what he thinks would be the "magic" needed in Game 6 to close the series out. He, quite simply, is the most sincere voice on all things Oilers and his insights are gold!
Would love to have, unfortunately I did not see the game. Was in the Amsterdam for the last week or so, so I missed every game after game 3 lol. Thank you for your kind words @archited.

If you had to miss the games, at least you missed them spending time in one of my favourite cities...

Absolutely, definitely would not have traded going there for watching the games lol.

I've never been before and I was extremely impressed. It may have displaced Paris as my favorite city I've ever visited, though I haven't been to Paris for a long time now and a lot of things have changed there vis-a-vis transit expansion and cycling. I would say Amsterdam is the closest thing I've seen to my ideal city. Super vibrant, beautiful architecture, multi modal transportation, etc, etc. Truly a spectacular city. I think Amsterdam may slide into #1 for me for now, we'll see if I make it back to Paris sometime if it can retake it's metaphorical throne.
