With the rezoning to UW, should we be expecting something similar to the previous proposal on this site? Or more of mid-rises?
Gotta ask...what's considered mid-rise, story wise?Good news:
The property has been sold and the two-storey Massey-Ferguson showroom building at the south end will be preserved, restored and incorporated into the new student housing development (the rest of the existing building will be demolished). The plans right now are for mid-rise buildings on the site.
Typically 7-12 call it.Gotta ask...what's considered mid-rise, story wise?
Would be nice to see some modular buildings like Sync111Concrete please!
Possibly 6 - 7 storeys across four buildings for the entire block. Looks like 400 - 600 units total at full build-out. No detailed design yet so these are all ballpark right now.Gotta ask...what's considered mid-rise, story wise?
That would work fine too....Would be nice to see some modular buildings like Sync111

Seems like a waste of prime downtown real estateI look forward to seeing 2 things:
- renderings
- construction timeline
It's not going to stay that way. PatienceIt's currently a parking lot and an abandoned building.
Good news is there are 1 or 2 other vacant lots nearby i think. We’ll save one of those for a highrise.Seems like a waste of prime downtown real estate
