@Das Ponto If you're looking to share files e.g. to provide them to clients, then Flickr isn't the best tool for that particular job, no. Flickr is better suited for showing a portfolio, and/or participating in photo communities.

For file sharing you're probably better off sticking to DropBox, OneDrive, or Google Drive.

Missed this, definitely agree. I have switched to google drive for sharing with my clients. So far much better and smoother than Dropbox.

This multi-fam infill in Strathcona is one of the nicest I've ever seen.

My friend's backyard laneway home. I'm so impressed he kept the 50's original home (950sqft) with basement suite (needed some work) and then added this for extra density - and all of it without removing trees and in fact planted additional ones. My favorite kind of infill!

A missing option in most of urban Edmonton (from Van).

I'm surprised that we don't have more of these in Wihkwentowin (Oliver) area, something like this would be great to attract/keep families and would look great with all the big trees. It would be great to have something like this as podiums for all those 6 story buildings popping up everywhere.

Some various infill projects on the go I’ve seen around town:

Dovercourt, 122 ave and St Albert Trail. Love the windows. Great spot for a multi-unit infill like this. This is built on a lot that previously housed a single bungalow.

North Glenora, 107a ave and 135 st. Not a huge fan of these bat lair all black homes, but I dig the round windows.

North Glenora, 141 st and 110a ave. This is a pretty different build. Four separate homes. I think once all landscaped, these will fit in nicely with the neighbourhood, better than a lot of other infills.

There is a big problem with that pie shaped lot, there are 5 homes on it, 3 of the homes face the alley with no parking available. This lot is facing the 111th Ave and 142 St. intersection with no convenient access to transit. Why was this development approved?

There is a bus stop ~15m away with six routes and the Westmount transit centre is ~800m away. Plus ample street parking around the road island on the front street. I don't think this is as problematic as you're suggesting, or any worse than any other development approved with no parking minimums that isn't adjacent to an LRT line.

Perhaps they will squeeze a parking pad or two on the back of the property. It will be a tough sell for them, there are many other locations better served with transit.

If ever there were an Edmonton developer that could radicalize me into one of those "responsible infill" types, it would be Everfor. These things suck. Like why does the side view look like one of those sheds where they fatten pigs up before the slaughter?
