These projects will add a significant number of people very close to Whyte Ave and fill up several lots which will also improve the feel of the area too.

It will be just the boost needed for an area trying to get back on its feet after a few tough years.

Nope still waiting on the Development permit
There are Quite a Few Projects That may have gotten Delayed by DP Processing Time being Quite Slow

The September 2018 date seems very irrelevant. Edmonton was a very different city in 2018. A more relevant date would be July 1, 2023 when this was posted. Seems like a very reasonable pace. Under 2 years from first shovel to now.

So second quick update. Just drove by this an hour ago and there is now both an excavator and a pile of dirt by its side!

I love the idea of keeping high rises off whyte by a block or two. Maintains more interesting commercial bays on the ave instead of a bunch of cookie cutter concrete boxes with no character, while still adding density to the neighbourhood.

I couldn't agree more. Stephen Ave in Calgary does a good job of this as an example.

I have similar dreams for 124 Street north of 107 Ave (the area surrounding the Roxy)
