That angle parking takes up a criminal amount of space. Make those two blocks of main street into pedestrian only and this complex could be a truly fantastic community and destination. I also really like the proposed pedway link directly to the transit station. Overall great but that main street hurts my soul with how closely they missed the mark.

Yes, the angle parking here is ridiculous. However, I realize not everyone will take LRT despite its proximity so a limited amount of parallel parking would make more sense here, more for people with disabilities, loading/unloading.

Can use all the other streets connecting to the main street for those things.

Let's compromise and embed some tracks so ETS can angle park their LRVs for storage.
The developers will do what they think works to encourage people to live here. I really doubt will involve a pedestrian only street which will make access more difficult.

Difficult for who? Adding loading zones on the intersecting streets wouldn't add any significant time, and the trade-off would be a significantly better pedestrian experience.

Just think of what you can do with a space that large. Restaurants can have patios, there can be nice planters and seating, space for festivals and markets and food trucks and buskers, maybe even special occasion beer gardens, and plenty more that I can't think of right now.
