Glazed brick!

I'm late to the party but this lovely project was completed in 2021 and there are interior pics here: https://www.vf-a.com/dundas-west

Taken 11 April. This corner lot is fenced off but unsure as to what is going on.

Ok, can anyone explain what the lingering construction project was outside that library branch?? I swear it went on for close to a decade, keeping the right lane of Dundas closed for a block, creating a torturous bottle neck that made my daily commute hell (except in my biking days). It only finished about a week ago finally. Hilariously, in classic Toronto ineptitude, for all those years, left turns northward onto Bathurst remained permitted right next to the endless right lane blockage, adding insult to injury for the suffering drivers and people on the 505 streetcar. About a month and a half ago, someone in the traffic department apparently got the memo about this utter stupidity AFTER MANY YEARS OF INACTION, and suddenly banned the left turns...just as the project finished. 😆 Now you can turn left again. I can't even with this idiocy.

Under/over 8 months following sidewalk reopening before Toronto Hydro comes and slices up that freshly paved smooth concrete and refills it with patchy asphalt??
