100% pure laziness! It takes effort by the mgmt to schedule staff and assist with the opening/closing of the patio daily - merely wiping and pushing in chairs. Then if they get a slow "patio" day - they put less effort into the next day. Look at the Tin Palace - patio is packed from open to close - 7 days a week. Cause they put the effort into making it a destination.

100% And no one is going to walk in and ask if they can sit on the patio if it's all packed up like that, they'll just go elsewhere. They're likely losing business just based on that alone.

They have an odd attitude overall. We walked in for dinner one time. The whole place had maaaaybe 2-3 tables with people. They asked if we had reservations, and since we did not, they off-handedly told us they couldn't seat us. Didn't explain why, with a fully empty resto way before dinner hour (it was fairly early by cool kid standards), didn't offer us a seat at the bar. Big old empty space, no reserved signs on tables, no explanation, nothing. Needless to say, we haven't been back since. Lots of delightful places I'd rather give my money to.

Unless they change their attitude, I have this nagging feeling that DOSC is not long for this world.

Smaller intersections, quicker intervals.

Well, O'Byrnes has an outdoor patio that several of us were hoping for.

As a pedestrian and resident nearby, it feels like construction is going on and leaves only a narrow walkthrough with where it's placed. Doesn't add to a great street vibe. Big thumbs down from me.

Can't believe this is allowed.
