This is fantastic. If you enjoyed putting it together, would you consider doing this for 1) Wikhwentowin/Westmount 2) Old Strathcona/Whyte 3) U of A adjacent (Garneau, Windsor Park etc)

:)
Let's be honest I probably will, this forum sucks you in as a lurker and then 2 years later you're making downtown development tier lists

This is great work, where did you pull the numbers from?
The planned and construction ones are from this forum! Or what I could find, thankfully the amazing people on this forum deliver on that. For the recently opened ones, Rentfaster actually has the number of units available which made my life a little easier.
Good work! Just need to add ICE District Phase 2 under Planned/Proposed, although I'm not sure of the number of units.
Yeah, it's the main reason I didn't add Ice District Phase II. I know it's supposed to be 2500 units, but unless there's something more concrete, I didn't really consider it until we get something more.

I think it could depend on whether Council includes the public works for it in the downtown CRL extension. Some Councillors have been very vocal against it, or at best reluctant, so I'm not sure what the outcome will be.

The stones are from somewhere in C/S America from a church or temple that collapsed during an earthquake if I recall correctly and were provided to the Allard's as a result of their volunteering or support or both during that time.

*that's how I recall the story

Yeah, I’m assuming based on Ian’s comment that they already came. So no pkayoffs, but rather our march/April ice/dirt/litter/grey/cold months.

Especially for those coming from places like Vancouver, April in Edmonton often is the most surprising contrast, even more than say January.

People expect January in Edmonton to be cold and winter. But I constantly hear friends from the coast who come in April express how hard it is to go from cherry blossoms, green grass, sun, warmth, etc to -3 mornings, dust, no green, lots of litter.

If I was potentially bringing a major brand, I'd want to see what it's like when there isn't playoffs or an event.
I spoke with someone who works (part time) at the Icehouse... she said it's basically packed to the gills on any game/event day but a total ghost town on any other day, which doesn't surprise me in the least for a variety of reasons.

Observation I got is the same, it is quieter downtown and the Ice District when there's no events, but the "base" level of foot traffic/busy-ness is increasing year on year. We really just gotta keep that going. For what it's worth, I was around the Ice District yesterday and for a non-event night, Brewhouse's patio was packed.
