Yes, perhaps we should start calling him road rage Lorne. But now I think I understand where he's coming from better, it seems he may live in the west end.

As for the theme park for the homeless, as he condescendingly calls it, perhaps we should encourage them to go west. Actually, I spoke to someone in the west end recently and it seems like it is already happening.

So it is not just a downtown problem anymore, but I assume they haven't got to Lorne's place quite yet. When they do, I guess he will have something else to rant about.

Do we have any population estimates on downtown proper lately? I feel like with the reduction in vacancy rates, and all the new residential units over the last 2-3 years, that we're closer to 15,000 than the 12,000 that the 2019 census had.

The easier decision would be not to spend millions to remove all the machines, that are not that old and mostly functional, as far as I can tell.

But the city loves to spend money on new things and not to maintain existing things, they are remarkable consistent, if wasteful in that way.
