La Bamboche, in the Queen and Logan area. This surged into my top coziest cafes list. Their baked goods are made in house, and the cookie I had was amazing.
No couches, but there is cushioned bench seating along one wall. And just look at all the thoughtful design details everywhere - they clearly put a lot of effort into the aesthetics, and I strongly appreciate that. That's why I find places with large, sparse, white surfaces quite offensive. It's utterly lazy, unimaginative and cheap.Even without couches?!Musta been an amazing cookie indeed!
