So, what's more realistic, we get some nice clusters popping up like we've been seeing in line 1 and 2 or we get a proper dense Lebreton cluster which would be like a downtown 2.0 especially after new Sens Arena? I hope they don't screw up Lebreton since it has potential to be super iconic

I'm hoping for Downtown 2.0 on LeBreton, with arts and entertainment and a healthy amount of retail mixed with high density housing. What I don't want to see on LeBreton is a forest of apartments without street life and retail.

Thankfully with the new Sens Arena it somewhat guarantees some sort of retail/entertainment/food. Ottawa sneakily is going to have a very underrated downtown. From Byward on the east all the way to Lebreton on the west which is all connected by the LRT.

Absolutely. I'm just worried about the fate of the Byward Market. It's still the historical core of the city, but it might be even more relegated to being a tourist trap once the Lebreton options become available to locals. Even the limited options at Lansdowne have drawn a lot of locals who don't want to deal with the downsides of the Byward Market. The market needs to go all out on the renewal plan, and the shelter situation needs to be sorted, or the whole area is just going to fester. I love the idea of having two incredible districts bookending downtown some day if it can all be sorted out.
