I do wonder what the population of this development will be at completion... in theory it could support an elementary and middle school? I do know that population ages do fluctuate though... I don't think Lakeview has as many kids as it used to so their school might be able to absorb the capacity. I do get your distain for parental drives and bus programs. School drop-off and pick-up times around my place are a no-drive time for me and I grew up taking the bus from the deep SE into Acadia up until grade 12, so definitely not a bus guy... Although I do take the bus to work now so maybe it conditioned me to be a bus guy.

Lakeview had/has 4 elementary schools and one junior high. The catholic K-6 is now just a satellite office and 2 of the CBE K-6 became charter schools. Most of TAZA won't be much further to the remaining regular schools compared to the current edges of Lakeview.
