I don't know the rules behind this but credit to the developer for following through on the rendering. After the engineering issue with the facade they could've left it and done something much less appealing. When it opens, I'll put in an effort to go support the businesses in this one.

I think the mesh is OK, it’s a little cluttered, but it makes the building interesting at least. It could end up very cool looking at night depending on the lighting.

Drove by this afternoon and they’re half done the Memorial side. It actually looks really good. My wife thought it was interesting.

Drove past it again on my way back and it was very overcast outside. I thought they had taken it down at first because it all looked like the grey siding. The mesh blended in from far away to the point I couldn’t actually see it. This building is like Jerry’s date that changes from good looking to ugly in different lighting.

I kind of like it when it's sunny - that shadowing effect is quite unique and interesting. This makes sense now why it looks completely different in different lighting.

Would’ve preferred brick, but still an interesting project. It’d be great to see this part of Bridgeland grow into a hub. Reminds me a bit of Brooklyn. With the Bridges mostly developed, hopefully growth spreads here and north of 1st Ave NE.

I wish the cladding was darker. They cheaped out on the windows, and there is too much contrast between the windows and the cladding. Something darker would make the mesh pop a lot more when it's dark/dusk as well. Still cool for being something different though, and a great add for the location.
