Well, i went to It finally on friday. What a neat space - i had no idea the upstairs would be so massive. Like an airplane hanger. You were correct Jason, music in the lounge part quite good - but the people gravitated up. Neat space all around - some questionable interior design choices, but was ok.

Went to Buddies on Saturday. Was fun too. Same as always.

Dear People,

There is a Vazaleen tonight at Lee's Palace. Should be good. The Gossip is playing (see pg. 30 in Eye). The usual night of dirty rock and roll and 1950s gay porn. Tell your mothers!

It's good to get there before 10:30 because around then the line up starts. It's an ungodly early hour to go out i know, but you will survive.

Friday was the best Vazaleen i've been to yet. *The* most viceral rock + roll experience i've had in this city this side of Sonic Youth in '00. I cannot say anymore.

It was my best Vazaleen as well! I was actually on the stage at Lee's dancing to Twisted Sister (which is probably more symbolic of how much I drank as compared to how good the night was), but still you get my drift!
