Yes there are according to the phased in plans released earlier, but it seems they are only working on the "work-live" part of the first phase (see below). Since these are being built on spec I guess they want to see how sales go with this before committing to the next part of phase 1 (speculation on my part).

Also could be that they only have one framing crew working so they may start the foundation once the roof is finished on the first building if they move at the same pace on the three-story townhomes they would have them complete by spring of next year both in order to start phase two I'd imagine that they need to have the grade of the new beachfront drive complete before they can move on the next phase

Honestly, I’m surprised at how low-key this project seems considering how famous Wasaga Beach is. It seems that they’re basically levelling and rebuilding the entire tourism district. The design quality of the replacement buildings and spaces doesn’t seem that great either.

Here’s to hoping that the beach will have ample public washrooms that no longer reek. When I last went, I think the toilets still emptied into a tank where you could see all the sewage while standing next to the toilet. Talk about nasty. The town enforced the parking meters like hawks. The OPP also drove around the beach on ATVs, ordering people to open their coolers lest they drink a beer on the beach. It just seemed like a greedy and nasty place with a decent beach.

I have only seen renderings of the two townhouse layouts. I'm sure as this moves along they will release renderings of the other types.

Stonebridge is a quality builder here - their other developments in the area are first class. I guess we'll have to see what the final product will look like.

Here is a shot today looking east at the Beach Drive and 2nd Street intersection

Looks like they have started digging a foundation in behind so you may have answered both of our questions huge thanks for all the pictures I have looked forward to this project for the better part of 15 years
