A couple of photos of NIMBY lawn signs from my travels east of Peterborough:

The interesting thing about these is the fact they are outside of the study corridors, right where the northern and southern routes bifurcate:

Are they against both rotes no matter which one is selected? Are they just BANANA? Who knows?... 🤷

I think they think something along the 401 or the existing route is what they likely have been convinced is best.

Or, they don't want the money 'wasted' on this.

Makes me wonder if they're against the rail that already exists through that corridor as well, or if they're just against big infrastructure projects because it doesn't benefit them directly.
