Will this finally end Smith and the UCP's undeserved reputation for being decent at financial management?

Alberta projecting larger deficit for the year — $6.5B — due in part to lower oil prices

People, including Smith, love to point out the deficits the NDP had under Notley but there were times oil was less than $30/barrel.

But of course it's OK for Smith to run deficits because oil is lower than budgeted.

Have you heard, Albertans and people from across Canada are stepping up offering to reimburse anyone brave enough to put the banned books back on school shelves? Canadians are fighting back against that traitor Smith.

Now they are banning books?

Danielle, they are just following the spirit of your rules as intended. Unfortunately, the spirit is mean spirited, but you have downloaded compliance so you can cleverly politically distance yourself from it if needed.

Should read the comments of Smitty's "Flat Earther's Society," on LinkedIN. Now all of a sudden these books are a problem...too funny. "The school executives need to fired for this travesty." "What about the children?" It's hundreds of comment of good entertainment....

Marlaina still blames the Edmonton Public Schools division for this pause instead of herself.
If there was a prize for finger pointing, she would win. There is a long list of others she blames for various problems: the Feds, municipalities, schools, AHS ... and so on.

Apparently she is blameless for everything and her gullible supporters believe this bs.

And don't forget when she was Chair of the Calgary Board of Trustees that was dismissed by the Government of Alberta in 1999. It was dismissed after being deemed dysfunctional by the province.

But in that case if was the fault of the Alberta Government and the other trustees on the board.

Crazy C&*T face - that's our MAGA Premier!

"At that same news conference, Smith was asked specifically about the inclusion of Atlas Shrugged, a personal favourite of hers. Smith suggested that book should instead be mandatory reading in high school."

I wouldn't be unhappy to see Atlas Shrugged as part of a core curriculum reading list that also includes The Grapes of Wrath, Nineteen Eighty-Four, The Dispossessed, The Grapes of Wrath and The Shock Doctrine. Maybe with Harari's Sapiens, A Brief History of Humankind for good measure.
