Plaza is empty yes but the boardwalk and lookouts are pretty lively.

At what point do we keep on telling this to ourselves? There’s already plenty of new apartments in the area, and the best that they can do is a poor attempt at a “depanneur”

I would say it’s fairly isolated from the rest of downtown proper. I think that the continued development of Lebreton will help it out more and that’s what will make it more desirable.

I think once the Sens rink gets built that will help.

Also when people start to occupy the commercial building next to that plaza, that should help too. I can imagine some people will go sit outside on breaks/lunch in the plaza.

Victoria Island might have a residential component after the clean up. The plan right now is pretty vague, just something about it being redeveloped with the indigenous community.
