Looked at this in 2016 but owner at the time wasn't ready to sell. About time, as they say...

Have you given a once-over to the plaza w/the Tim's across the road; levelling that would make @Towered 's day, maybe even his week.

Could never get close enough. This guy always wanted to fight...

Ooh, i would love to see the Tim Hortons plaza go, if only to cut down on the number of times I narrowly miss getting hit by a car when walking by. (Though I don't know where the juggalos will get their sodas, if that happens. The S Market has a weirdly vast selection of Faygo)

I can confirm the Faygo selection is indeed vast, even unprecedented. Disturbing.

What's the deal w/Faygo?

Don't remember knowing of it previously............though maybe I did........

Looked it up for purposes of this discussion and its basically fruit-flavoured pop from Michigan..........

I only learned about what Faygo is in this thread and I too am disturbed. Does the S-mart also stock Crystal Pepsi and New Coke?

Back on topic about the upcoming development here, if this building can slot in at 6 stories, I think it would fit in nicely (not withstanding finishes/quality). I feel like 8 stories would "look" out of place, unless of course there is further development in this pocket and then you get a nice cluster of buildings in that range. However, that's just purely on aesthetics. I know 8 stories can work here.

I can't say I was........

Having now looked up the term.......

I still think I am not. And, I'm inclined to keep it that way.
That's probably for the best. Hard to think of a sub-culture more ridiculed than that one. I will say though that despite my frequent presence in the area, despite the Faygo Eldorado on offer, I have never seen a single juggalo there!

The way my brain works I thought juggalo was another way of saying gigolo.

Yeah, "think of the children" - you know how many times I've nervously passed by this stupid car wash or the horrible Tim Horton's plaza across the street while pushing my baby in a stroller only to have to dodge impatient asshole cars flying in and out of these awful car-oriented businesses? What a bunch of idiots in that group, but that's typical - those things are always filled with knee-jerk scorn for any kind of redevelopment, no matter what or where.
I don't see how this issue gets any better when you have a building here with, presumably, parking and poor sightlines at the garage ramp as many buildings do.
