beautiful project!
it's really refreshing to see a colonade facade rather than the usual bands/strips of glass railings.

This is yet another exciting Cityzen project. The architecture makes it exciting but it's good to see that those old buildings will be reused. Areas with a diversity of buildings from different eras can be more vibrant, even if the buildings are modest.

Great building but in my humble opinion saving those two buildings is just plain dumb. There is nothing unique or heritage about these buildings, get rid of them, and put the space to better use.

+1 I hate it when developments do this, there's a bunch of other examples - unless there's some historic significance there (and it doesn't seem that way from the outside) I don't see why they didn't tear them down ... really takes away from the project (which will really depend on the details to see if it comes though anyway).

In some cases I agree it's nice and adds some diversity, but not here.

It's not about architectural diversity that I had in mind in this case, it's about having different types of buildings for different kinds of purposes to attract different kinds of people. However, in this case it does seem like a token gesture given that only one building will have commercial uses, while the other will be housing and the fact that there's only two small buildings. It's not like a block rich in storefronts and housing is being preserved, unless that's what was there before the development started.
