That playground looks legit! I can’t wait to try that slide. Lol. It reminds me of the Boston Police officer slide (iykyk).

I suspect that Tiramisu’s cafe here will be a huge hit. Anyone know if it will be open year-round, or only during the summer months?
They said on the news yesterday (CTV) that it would be open year-round.

Must have been 500-1000 people just around the playground this afternoon. It was insane.

Oy, I'd much prefer kayaks. Pedal boats are like those nightmares where you make all the running motions and yet remain stationary. I mean, having both is ok, but give me my kayaks, dammit! 😆

^agreed. Took a tour around 11 and it was PACKED at that time.

The revised central building and playground were rammed.

Question though - are there two lanes of one way traffic from about 2/3 around through? It was forever to get through due to folks dropping people and parking.

0 sympathy for drivers having a slow trip around, sorry.

My main beef is there not being dedicated bike path/lanes separate from pedestrians. We should allow pedestrians to safely stroll without constant bike traffic and likewise cyclists shouldn’t have to weave and slam breaks and constantly be ringing bells to get through.

Arguably a 2nd, small playground in the NW could be justified.

with there being by cyclist markings on the road, I think the design is actually cars/bikes on the road and pedestrians on the new path. It wasn’t the best to bike on the road today with how busy I think it might not be that bad for the most part. For cycling, the park is a pretty short distance around. I’m not sure how busy it will be for that

A bike lane seemed like a no-brainer right?!

Don't mind a single lane most of the way to calm things, but from the last main parking lot there seems to be room for two lanes, a through and a staging.
