Plymouth Drive and Sheridan Park aren't arterial roads unlike Upper Middle. Queensway actually was a part of Upper Middle, just offset.

If I look on a map, Upper Middle clearly aligns with the QEW, not Queensway.

It does, but The Queensway was Upper Middle Road originally. The QEW was The Middle Road.

Here is a map from 1955 showing the road network in the southern part of Toronto Township (now mostly the City of Mississauga). It shows the Upper Middle Road running from Highway 10 (Hurontario Street) to what I believe is Hammond Road, just short of what is now Erin Mills Parkway.

If we consult the City of Mississauga website, we can see there is an environmental assessment in the last several years that concludes the City should complete an extension of Sheridan Park Drive, to connect the two segments.

If we consult their zoning map we can see that the Zoning for the Upper Middle Road mostly continues to exist east of where Queensway West ends either directly allowed for road, or as zoned for utility, except for where 1775 Blythe Road, and 2681 Mississauga Road are located
