remember after 9/11 we had a we love new york thing and we sent rescue workers to ground zero, relief, tourists etc.

remember when we had sars they did nothing for us, told people to keep away from us like we had leprosy or something!

remember how we got blamed for the blackout!

remember how the u.s closed its door to canadian beef after mad cow, have we closed our doors to u.s beef now?

remember how canada always changed it's laws to keep the us happy, example - pot laws

all i know is that canada bends over and takes it in the ass for the us and then g.w moron and this american communist has the nerve to hate us!

Don't worry about Canada... Americans are quite liked here. There are a few Western European countries where pro-American sentiment is strong as well. In most of the rest of the world, feelings towards the US range from mild mistrust to bitter hatred. Read the Canadian media once in a while and get some ideas as to how to make your country less disliked. Wrapping yourself in your flag, beating your chest and shouting "USA!" isn't going to bring security to your country and as long as you let hatred fester around the world, you'll never be safe.

I love these Americans. They forget history or actually don't know it.

We joined WW1 in 1914 and lost more per capita than most others. They came in 1917.

We joined WW2 in 1939 and they needed Pearl Harbor to finally join in late 1941.

We're in Afganistan and have troops in the mideast even though we have not officially endorsed the Bush crap. What crap these people speak Thank you CBC and the hell to you Fox.

Some (who incidentially couldn't even tell where Canada is if shown the map) seems to have this rather fantastical notion that the US was the first to offer its' skin on the line in both world wars under the banner of freedom or righteousness. Gimme a break. But then again, I guess that's what happens when one learns history from Hollywood movies (like that "how we raided a German sub for the Enigma machine" crap).
