i don't know how long the CUPE ads promoting 'good value' for public services have been on tv, but IMO they certainly didn't get 'good value' for the commercials.

they look very amateurish with horrible acting and production quality.

Yeah, I don't quite understand why a union needs to advertise in the first place. The actors are bad, and the Asian man with the heavy accent seems like a last minute attempt at appealing to diversity, IMO... But hey, advertising revenue is always good for TV stations, right..?

I'm sure that CUPE needs to polish it's image after a couple of strikes in couple cities over the summer demolished people's goodwill towards the union.
