Yesterday found me on an errand (getting very wet) in this dingy part of town:

My dad had one in red -- same great old running boards and everything. Locale guess: Dundas west of Bathurst?

There's no streetcar tracks, so it can't be Dundas, although the Portugese businesses lead me to think it's west-end'ish. Probably Ossington between Dundas & Queen?

Portuguese Draperies and Textiles is at 198 Ossington Avenue, just south of Ossington and Dundas. Finding this out was a snap thanks to the internet.

^Yeah, halfway between Queen and Dundas is one of my favourite coffee joints in Toronto, Dark Horse!

^Yes! It's so shiny and brand new driving under there, very nice! A pity there isn't retail in the tunnel.
