The Aviary pub and Longslice brewery are for sale. The owners posted a detailed statement on Instagram explaining that it has been too difficult to keep going financially this year.
It would be a huge loss for the neighbourhood if new owners can't be found to keep it alive. They always seem quite busy, but I know margins are tough.

Does anyone know if these wire screens are meant to have vines on them?

If you jump through this slideshow of the pre-2015 renders on the MJMA architects website you can clearly see the screens, but no vines, so I'm guessing that's not their purpose.
