ECC is back at it with a 13 degree forecast next Wednesday. Not sure if it's calibration issues but 7 degrees right now? I'm not near the airport but that seems incredibly warm. I'm seeing and measuring 2 degrees where I'm at near the inner city, which should be warmer due to heat island effects.

Yeah I don't what the deal is but my weather forecasts have been pretty consistently off the last few weeks, and by a lot more than the usual.

I find TWN to be fairly accurate most of the time. Unless I look at their snow report for the ski hills, then they're out to lunch lol.

That 13 doesn't seem to have been accurate haha!
They are now forecasting 10 and 8 for Monday and Tuesday...whereas every other service is in the low single digits (2-5). While it's not a big deal for most people, it's pretty embarrassing for a National Weather Service to be so off and it's models are probably relied on for industrial and other uses?

From what I've been told, the Weather Network and others get their weather data from ECCC and work from there. So I'm not entirely sure what's wrong with the forecasting on the government site. Might just be a very bad interpretation of the data.

Doesn't really matter, they'll get the most growth in spring and them slow by mid summer, so it depends what you're going for.
Hedge is young - only 3 year old cotoneaster, haven't really pruned much at all yet. I want the hedges to get thicker and taller over time.
