Temp snow/stay off the lawn fence…..

Good to know - makes sense.

When I was in Brussels they had fencing up along some of their landscaping in pedestrian/biking only areas and it looked good.

Anyone know if the park will be ready next week? Open for Thanksgiving weekend would be pretty awesome.

The pavilion seems like it has the most work remaining of anything in the park. Installing the red metal cladding and all the detailed cuts required seems quite time consuming based on the weekly progression I've seen. Not sure how inside is going.

And 106st won't be ready by Thanksgiving I don't think - not that the park couldn't open without it. But would be nice to have all that done.

I think we could use fencing like this or otherwise more frequently to add extra detail to planting beds and landscaped areas, especially in urban areas.
It adds just a little extra structure to an organic bed, and does help discourage destruction too.

Some new wildlife (several owls) has been added to the northern lights feature - will this keep pigeon crap off of it?

I won't miss the Geese droppings if this park doesn't attract them (without water)

I sure hope those beautiful wood columns/seating don't get heavily tagged/spraybombed. Is there budget for security of this park similar to what we see at Stationlands?

One of the last features of the park to finish is coming along.

Unfortunately some ne’er-do-wellers like to use benches as their form of medium to leave their form of a “will” akin to the benches on the Walterdale…..a lot cheaper then lawyer fees…..I suppose

I used to live in an apartment above a commercial building on Whyte. I had a rooftop patio and dealt with pigeons all the time. I bought one of these owls and it worked great for a little while, but then the pigeons started to figure out it wasn't real. At first they'd do fly-bys and try to knock it over, then they'd land close to it and slowly examine it, and finally, they returned and just ignored it.

You should have just moved the owl around every week or so. The COE staff behind Warehouse Park should be taking notes.
