how many valley line west trains are here now ? Are they on display somewhere?
Probably just the one so far.
Usually 1 vehicle of a new type is delivered ahead of time for initial testing and commissioning before the balance starts arriving.

Then there's whether there's space to store the cars. Building A doesn't have much capacity to store many extra LRV's, which likely means Building B needs to completed enough before too many or possibly any more cars arrive.
When the first Bombardier car arrived it sat cocooned outside at Building A in a structure made from scaffolding covered with tarps and plastic sheets until the building was ready.
The first car arrived in July 2018, the second in August 2019. The third and fourth cars and subsequent cars came pretty quick after that. By November 2019 the first car was still stored outside and we suspect the other cars that had been delivered may have been stored off site.

Almost done at Lewis Farms OMF

It's too bad lessons weren't learned from the SE line. The city should have gone with more decorative polling for the catenary through Glenora and 104th ave. Even for Stony would have been nice. Le sigh.
I thought they were going to? I swear either the booklet or design mock ups had different poles thru glenora and into DT

The summer 2024 booklet has normal poles, and this is the most recent design book avaliable. I didn't know these other ones were on the table, I agree they would have looked nicer for those areas.
