I don't follow, the stores/businesses were designed for entrance from the lot not the street. Are you suggesting that the stores be rebuilt to include both street and lot access? I can see the 1 point of entry for the businesses as being easier to maintain their stocks...Now if we could only force the Brewery District to open up entrances to shops on the sidewalk instead of just the parking lot once this is done...
These might a better proposition, larger footprint, and about 12 - 15 stories high?

Realistically, most won't be able to adjust, I understand that. It's just a shame it's so parking-lot oriented when they knew the LRT would be built there.
