This is blatantly false.
From SE Central Edmonton Groat road is often my most used route to WEM, followed by Fox Drive via Belgravia Road.

And sure, the whitemud and henday also get you to the west end and a ton of people use those. But those all require going down and around if coming from central Edmonton.

Then you proceed to show a map with 102 & 107 both on it…. “Groat” is only the small section connecting river valley road to 107ave. You’re literally proving the point of the guy you claimed was wrong…

I was thinking of 102, SPR and 107 Ave being the primary routes out of downtown. River Valley/Groat also works.

While I agree that construction needs to be done sometime, the city could spell out alternatives for accessing the Ice District.

That bike lane in that area is one of the most ridiculously sized I've ever seen with incredibly low usage and confusion for all. I like the idea of angled parking on the west side.

Wow thanks for sharing! How have I never heard about this? Even though this is an older pre City Plan policy, I hope this happens because I think this is what will really help tie the west side of downtown together nicely.
