Doesn't matter if you were there. Do think MOD's treat people with respect? Simple question that deserves a yes or no answer.

Anyway, the issue has been cleared up with the MOD in question.
Do I think moderators should treat people with respect? Yes.
Do I think moderators do treat people with respect? Dunno. I've never had to deal with one.

We try our best to treat everyone fairly. Occasionaly we deal with folks that are sent away but for the most part it has worked just fine for 20 years. Good that you resolved it @C-mac

There are two new lines in our Rules of Conduct.

There is this one in the Posting Guidelines section;
- Members must respect the privacy of other members, and not refer to others by any name other than their avatar, and must refrain from posting any details that identify another member or lead to revealing the identity of another member.

...and this one in the Reasons to be banned section;
- Doxxing another member (providing any details that would allow other member’s identity to be revealed).

We won't be applying the actions retroactively to the various posts over the last while which have made these additions necessary, but we will apply the remedy vis-à-vis posts that cross the lines from here on out. Banning, of course, can be temporary and as short as one day, if the infraction is minor.
