Get to King this AM and manage to get to the North platform where a train arrives and they tell us service is out.

Cool, I'll just go to the South Platform then I'm only going to College.

Ten minutes? Guess I'll go up and take the shuttle then...

Wait at King & Yonge for a shuttle that sits at Wellington for five minutes within eyeshot of everyone waiting, where eventually a staff comes and tells us service northbound is back. Get to the platform to learn service is only back to College, which works for me but sucks for anyone going to Bloor or beyond.

I'm not one to complain but It's like they actively don't want people to take transit sometimes.
It's stuff like this that pisses people off and drives people away from transit, and it's becoming increasingly common with the TTC.

People think to themselves; why waste 30-45 mins just to travel 1-3 km, when they can drive or Uber the same distance in a third of the time.

Very sorry you had to deal with this atrocious kind of garbage.

Got on the 63 south last night from Ossington station to see this on the information display:

Have we gone back in the past (in a good way), where busses might dwell at a stop in order to keep an actual schedule, rather than speed-run between terminuses?

OMG this makes me so happy. I have been complaining about the complete lack of communication regarding dwell times at termini forever. Would be nice if they could add expected dwell times in the future too.

It’s frequently displayed but not sure how often it actually holds. For quite a while, maybe close to a year?, the southbound bus makes the announcement as it pulls into the station.
