Both of these projects are rather ugly, especially the street level. The contrast of the first phase with the older building on the corner of King and Dufferin speaks volumes of the design "excellence" seen in this project.
 
Turner Fleischer is nothing to write home about that's for sure, but Lifetime is the one who continuously choose to source bargain bin trash material for cladding.

They've done it time and time again where they choose to cheap out and the bad results show as clear as day.
 
Sad that so much investment doesn't translate into a nicer city. Instead of building a bigger better Toronto, we're often just building more ugly that no one wants to spend time in.
The investment was years of foreign speculators whose money lined the pockets of a few developers rather than creating a nice public domain
