Not a great pic but lots of noise wall construction going on here:
I suppose the noise of the construction equipment could startle horses on the training track that's immediately on the other side of the noise wall (more than the trains do now)? But I don't know if the wall being there would make much difference, and I know almost nothing about horses and horse racing.... Why is there need for a sound wall exactly? This is an industrial area...

There's been many horse racing tracks that have also been used for auto racing (Aintree, Sandown AUS, Dover DE, Chicago Motor Speedway at Sportsman's Park, Syracuse, Kawartha Downs/Speedway), but maybe in those cases the horses were more easily and temporarily kept away from the noise?

That soccer stadium project is dead.Im not familiar of the orientation of the site, but isnt there a new community soccer stadium and training facility coming up somewhere near woodbine GO?

Even here, I don't know if what I've seen is possible given current market trends and how much any given developer could get PSF in north-west Etobicoke...the @ProjectEnd general theory of Toronto development: all else being equal, grand plans will not materialize in the manner to which they were initially described, if they are to materialize at all
