I was going through some aerial shots I have taken over the last few days and noticed this area immediately east of Voya. It looks like there has been some site prep here and I'm wondering what the deal is here. Nothing shows on the UT map but are they getting ready to build here?

As far as we know, nothing has been formally announced yet, but there supposed to be 2 towers and a park on this parcel, including the tallest tower in Parkside Village development. The design shown in the most recent promotional image is a placeholder and is probably currently undergoing formal design:

An article in the October 2024 edition of the Condo Life magazine mentioned that "Amacon is expanding this 30-acre development with two new towers launching in 2025". The article was written by the CEO of In2ition, a realty company associated with Parkside Village.

Nothing has been posted on the City's website regarding Block 11 (southwest corner of Confederation/Parkside Village Drive) or Block 6 (Burnhamthorpe/Parkside Village Drive).
