Thanks to @Willybru21 's explanations, I've added labels and directions. This space is the lobby/arrival space when coming from Union Plaza from the left.

A remaining question: Will the existing Scotiabank Arena atrium become one with the new South Concourse, or will it still be separated by a wall? If it's one wide concourse or if there is an escalator within the South Concourse that leads to the bridge over Bay Street, that'll solve the difficulty in getting to the bus station which is circuitous and difficult to explain to tourists or other lost souls.

Great work!

What if we borrowed from the idea below to have cute little blue jays, raccoons, squirrels, Canada geese, moose, etc guard our important spots? (Isesaki station, north side)

That would be too easy. The city has to go through a decade-long procurement process to buy some prefabricated concrete blocks.

Not that is even the issue because as you can see here, there was never any real interest in preventing vehicle incursion into the plaza in front of Union, just maintaining the appearance of security. We've endured these jersey barriers because of some liability lawyers.
