I don't share your opinion on the building, but I get your point. Unless they're are planning to revitalize the Planetarium to its original glory, might as well take it down, put the space to good use..as oppose to letting it sit there and rot for the ages.

...I will miss it, but it's better fate than neglect, IMO.

That proposal was much more about the condo tower than a ROM expansion. The proposal lacked any merit whatsoever and was rightly shot down.
