I would not be surprised if Quantum Coffee ends up having a very long lineup on its grand opening just like with Prince Street Pizza.

I love this development! My only regret is that the cinema got scratched but then I remember that the building at the southwest corner of Spadina and Wellington will likely be redeveloped at some point and could easily incorporate a cinema! Lol
You know, Market square is a really great cinema, think it's like 8 screens like 50 ft underground. Best part is that theres no cell service. So theres' no way for someone to get a phone call LOLHold on.............you want to demolish this Heritage-Listed, 118 year old building for a cineplex?

Hard pass!
Let the building stay.
I quite like movies too, but I would first prioritize restoring a couple of heritage one-screeners if possible. Thereafter, we need at least one, and preferably 2 competitors to Cineplex, ideally one in the Arthouse space, so we can get better product variety and better cinema experience for the dollar.
That said, cinemas are essentially windlow-less boxes, so ideally, they would go underground; what we don't want is to trade precious heritage for them.
From The Well websiteDoes anyone know if the food hall will be opening this Friday as well?
Current planned opening date is March of next year.Does anyone know if the food hall will be opening this Friday as well?
There is a knock out panel on P2 to the south (for a potential connection to the future GO Station there) but nothing to the east. And given the proponent behind 400 Front, the likelihood of that happening is essentially 0.Are there any plans for a future underground connection between the well and whatever gets built on the other side of Spadina? It would be incredible if the well was eventually connected to PATH
