So much for 'Alternate Employment Activities' Tricon has filed with the C of A to convert the commercial space on levels 2 - 5 to residential.

Permits for conversion of the office space planned for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors to residential were applied for in August 2025. My understanding, from on site staff, is that the new units are to be operated as part of the overall residential rental building, and not as a hotel.

The timing is interesting, with reports that office space is now in short supply.

Isn't it specifically AAA office space that's in short supply? I doubt this is considered AAA, probably just class A.

These condo units are either gonna be the best in the building with extra high ceilings and huge layouts or the absolute worst with terrible noise suppression. Very curious how they turn out
