The first phase of the whole Cloverdale redevelopment is a couple of years out - and that's a couple of decades buildout
 
Behind the scenes, Quadreal was making movements to get the 1st Phase of the Cloverdale Mall redevelopment underway...that was before the market went down the gutter.

As far as the advancing of the Cloverdale project goes, it's effectively frozen and there are no plans to move it forward anytime in the foreseeable future.
 
Lots of work going on behind the scenes for the Cloverdale project as not all approvals have been completed yet. It might not go as early as planned, but still work to be done before it can get started anyway. Market is just a setback, but it will come eventually, especially with lease expiries to look out for in the coming years.

Yup they will likely aim to shore up whatever approvals they were already looking to get and were in progress. Nothing new will be started for the time being.
