What the hell is going on with the northern of the two buildings? Is it going to be empty forever. Has been 3+ years with just a completely empty shell...

All I can say is that there are three buildings and the northernmost building is office and serviced apartments. There's a lot of empty office space in the city.

Its a Sonder - called "Artesa". Don't know how well its doing but actually fairly affordable for a hotel room in Toronto. See here: https://www.sonder.com/en-ca/destinations/toronto/TOR-BRIX6-712/c35785?sleeps=1 There is around 45 of them in there I think.

When I walked by this building this morning I noticed that one of the lower floors is being finished so maybe they got a tenant?
