Elevator Ratio: 60 units to 2 elevators, 1 unit per 30 elevators

Parking Spots: 70

Tenure: Condo

Comment:

If they're serious about condo here, and the look is certainly 'luxe' I think the unit sizes are a bit small, and they could probably use some extra parking, but we shall see.

Yeesh, what did the dog bring in today?
Those units are tiny for the demographic theyre going for, and well, I'm not so sure I understand what the "architectural design" is going for here, because it looks simultaneously cheap and kind of "luxe" in the same breath.

I promise you, this building will be received by the general public far better than even the "nicest" Bauhaus box.

I mean, that wouldn't surprise me. 95% of the population doesn't even know what Bauhaus architecture is.
Let's see if this proposal makes it far before a revision or two is made by planning...I wager there'll be some changes made.

No, but they see the results in the built environment. As has been consistently documented via surveys and studies, the general public thinks poorly of buildings with low levels of ornamentation, "clean lines", and 90-degree angles. People like arches, texture, and granular detail. Sorry to say -- but this building provides that better than most modern construction.

I agree with your assessment to a point, I just have a hard time seeing this project being built as advertised without some concessions made to neighbouring properties. And some minor adjustments.
