About Dan Lackie way, I thought Concord was planning to build a outdoor shopping area around there called UnderConcord... Is that still happening or is it a vaporware? I always imagine it kinda a quasi-Bentway project.

So, it appears that years later, it is in fact quite dead.
I'd been looking for an update on this bridge and found this Waterfront Toronto video where they go into a lot of detail and the absolute need for this bridge, yet here were are many years later and nothing has come of it. It really makes you realize how much time is wasted in the city bureaucracy on plans that never materialize.
As I mentioned in the BMO Field thread, the Bentway is the kind of project that could've been attached to the World Cup, receiving funding associated with hosting the FIFA Fan Festival and as a consequence, having a real deadline and political pressure to get it done. This bridge, the development of the Bentway islands and the western expansion of The Bentway to meet BMO Field could have been an infrastructure legacy of hosting the World Cup.

The Bentway is teaming up with Light Bureau (Norway), CityPlace and Fort York BIA, the Waterfront BIA and the City of Toronto to brighten intersections under the Gardiner Expressway, starting with a bold new lighting project coming soon to Dan Leckie Way at Lake Shore Boulevard West.
