...I figured that was too good to be true. /sighNo. That looks like Ontario Line laydown space.

COBE trying their hand at condos, not bad. But it feels like they're being influenced by AA too muchWe have an overall resubmission for the 3C Lakeshore Site at Cherry and Lake Shore, with a first phase in the site's northwest corner!

BTW, just to start a feedback loop, this revision kills the 300 Queens Quay East plan.

Just imagine how much more development would've been built if council had voted to remove the eastern portion of the Gardiner! The continuous waterfront along the Keating Channel would've been such a nice place to be.
I watched a video today on a building in- I think it was- China, where a monorail cuts through it. They manage the noise and vibrations by running supports through the building in a space where nothing touches.![]()

The plan is that the Gardiner will be nowhere near the Keating Channel when they rebuild it. It would make no sense to have freeways with a river view and buildings with track and freeway views.
Yes, I don't have any issue with the elevated freeway hemmed in by freeways and know of Liziba station. They oversell how great the tech used is... the sound is inside neighbouring apartments is up to 60 decibels which is great for a noise on the street, great in that it doesn't harm hearing, but not great in your apartment. You would need to turn your TV up to levels that hurt your hearing to not be distracted by 60 decibel noisesI’m sure at the rate we’re going we’ll have started to put buildings around and over the Gardiner before anything happens to it.
Although I dont care for the staggered elements, I can appreciate the more solid materials and the fact the designs have stepbacks and are not top heavy
