You are correct; hyperbole on my part! What I should have said was the highest growth is pronounced in CND metros and is evenly spread across the country.

Yes, it definitely seems like Canada is gaining ground in tech. Part of the story might be the 25-35% lower compensation. The ranking isn't purely based on headcount, it uses some other factors, hence why Seattle ranks higher (I would expect it to, with Amazon, Microsoft, etc.).

Although I think that the news about tech visas for the US is a bargaining ploy, if it lasts Canada will really benefit!
